Ponga Música is an independent guide to Latin music and live nights in Miami. We explain genres, describe the arenas, theaters and clubs where the city goes out, and share practical advice for enjoying a show comfortably. We are a reader resource and nothing more.

What we are not

We want to be clear about this from the start, because it shapes everything we publish:

When you want tickets, show times or door policies, go straight to the venue's own website or its official box office. Venue details change, and the venue is always the final word.

What we cover

Our coverage follows the questions people ask before a night out. Which genre is which? Our Latin genres explainer walks through salsa, reggaeton, bachata, cumbia and more. Where should I go? Our venue guides cover places such as Kaseya Center, The Fillmore Miami Beach and Ball & Chain on Calle Ocho. How do I stay comfortable? See Comfort at Shows. Why does the band sound the way it does? Read Live Sound.

How we choose what to write about

We pick topics that are useful to someone planning a night of live Latin music in Miami, and we favor lasting information over hype. Venue pages stick to verifiable basics: location, the kind of shows a place hosts and a short history drawn from published sources. We do not publish invented tour dates, prices, quotes or reviews, and we do not accept payment to feature an artist or event.

Sources and accuracy

Facts on this site come from published reference sources and the venues' own public information. Where we explain how something works, such as a sound check or a conga pattern, we keep it general rather than claiming details we cannot confirm. Health-related pages, such as our notes on heat and hearing protection, are general information only; please ask a doctor about your own situation.

Corrections policy

If something here is wrong or out of date, we want to know. Email info@pongamusica.com with the page address, what needs fixing and, if possible, a link to a reliable source. We review every correction request, update the page when the evidence supports a change and keep the fix plain and visible rather than quietly rewriting history.
